As you know, effective September 1, 2014, UNICOM Systems, Inc., a division of UNICOM Global, has acquired the IBM Cognos Finance product. The acquisition of IBM Cognos Finance expands and builds on UNICOM's strategic IT capabilities and offerings including Enterprise Software, Computing Hardware, IT Services, Telecom Equipment, IT Real Estate, Corporate Procurement Services, Mergers and Acquisitions and Financing Services for Fortune 500, Global 2000 and the U.S. Federal Government and SLED customers.
As a valued UNICOM Finance customer, be assured that UNICOM continues to build on your investment in the product as we stimulate new development and look for ways to extend the product functionality. In March of this year, UNICOM held our first worldwide Customer Advisory Board, which provided us the opportunity to meet with key UNICOM Finance customers and enabled spirited discussions with our development staff on the future of the product. The feedback we received from these discussions was very positive and helped to inform the planned product road map.
In keeping with our commitment to innovation and continued product development, we are proud to announce the General Availability release of UNICOM Finance 12.0. UNICOM is very excited to bring you this new release.

Improved conformance including support of Microsoft Excel 2013 and Windows Server 2012. |

Removal of the settings file from the Windows directory to improve usability under Citrix and in Windows 7 and other operating systems with UAC enabled. |

Implemented switching to Native security from Access Manager or IBM Cognos BI security modes. |

UNICOM Licensing Technology is now used for UNICOM Finance 12.0. |
